We’re preparing the first Phoenix hulls for assembly and testing. Since the hulls are now molded, the drudgery of shaping foam and hand-laying fiberglass has been entirely eliminated from the construction process. All the remains to prepare the hulls is to cut a few holes for lift air and add hard points to a few key areas on the underside of the hull. These hard points are used for mounting the engine, handles, emergency tow hook, etc. Pretty soon we’ll be adding all the components and firing them up for the first time!
