The complete hull and thrust duct of the Rip Tide have now been filled with Bondo and sanded. |

The first coat of paint on the hull. The thrust duct and cockpit interior still remain. I used a 4″ brush with Behr exterior high gloss paint. There are still some minor brush marks visible, but the Penetrol additive helps to thin the paint enough to self level reasonably well, especially on vertical surfaces. |

The entire craft has now been painting. The deck has been masked for the second coat on the cockpit walls. |

Another shot of the craft before the cockpit interior was painted. |

The finished paint job. I may add some black stripes or accents, but I’m still considering patterns. |
